For best results, flush one or two wipes at a timeWhen used responsibly (1-2 sheets at a time), Andrex Washlets do not block properly maintained sewage systems. As part of the extensive research and development, we have thoroughly tested them to industry standards ensuring that, as they pass through moving water in the sewer system they lose their strength and break down.
Andrex Washlets® are made from more than 98% (natural) cellulose fibres, just like we use in dry tissue paper, with just a small amount of synthetic fibres to maintain strength in use. This is different to non-flushable wipes that contain a high amount of plastic material and therefore do not break down, even in moving water.
Andrex Washlets pass industry flushability guidelines, meaning they are compatible with wastewater systems and have passed industry tests for biodegradability
