Buttercup Syrup gives rapid relief for symptoms of coughs, colds and sore throats. It contains two active ingredients which help it to do this:

Squill liquid extract, which is a plant extract and has a mild expectorant effect. This means it loosens mucus by making it thinner, therefore making it easier to cough up, and allowing you to clear you airways easier.Capsium Tincture, which gives the medicine an aromatic, warming flavour. These ingredients combine with a syrup base which coats and soothes the throat and relieves irritation.
